This project aims to understand the current state of working modes through analysis of interactions between people, space and technology in 4 types of innovation spaces: Co-working, In-house Innovation Labs, Hackerspace, Design Consultancies.
Two teams in class each studied two types of spaces and shared the learning as a group. As a class, we conducted a co-creation workshop with the client Herman Miller and documented the project into a research report.

Approach: conducted immersive, deep ethnographic research with structured interviews. Read upon literary papers, articles and reports to supplement the research findings. Synthesized insights into themes and developed design principles as a class.
